Inventory Management

This report shows the vehicles on a dealer lot that need to have their batteries checked, based on VIN.

New Vehicle Arrival Test View:

List of vehicles that need new vehicle arrival test. The formula to identify the vehicles relies on the following:

  • Vehicles that are active (not marked as sold) in the inventory file provided by the OEM
  • Not manually removed by the user from the BMIS website
  • No battery test or diagnostic charge has been performed
Inventory Test View:

List of vehicles that are due for testing today. The formula to identify the vehicles relies on the following:

  • Vehicles that are active (not marked as sold) in the inventory file provided by the OEM
  • Not manually removed by the user from the BMIS website
  • Number of days elapsed from the last GOOD battery test. The vehicles that are tested with open circuit voltage (OCV) less than or equal to 12.60VDC are up for retesting in 30 days and OCV greater than 12.60VDC are up for testing in 60 days.
Charge View:

List of vehicles that need to be charged. The formula to identify the vehicles relies on the following:

  • Vehicles that are active (not marked as sold) in the inventory file provided by the OEM
  • Not manually removed by the user from the BMIS website
  • Vehicles that have had a Battery Test with a GR8 DIAGNOSTIC NEEDED result, without a subsequent Diagnostic Charge with a Good Battery or Replace result
Replace View:

List of vehicles that need batteries replaced. The formula to identify the vehicles relies on the following:

  • Vehicles that are active (not marked as sold) in the inventory file provided by the OEM
  • Not manually removed by the user from the BMIS website
  • Vehicles that have had a Battery Test or Diagnostic Charge with a Replace Battery result, without a subsequent Battery Test or Diagnostic Charge with a Good Battery result
Pending View:

List of vehicles that are not yet due for testing today. The formula to identify the vehicles relies on the following:

  • Vehicles that are active (not marked as sold) in the inventory file provided by the OEM
  • Not manually removed by the user from the BMIS website
  • Vehicles that have not reached 30 days since the last GOOD battery test with open circuit voltage below 12.6VDC, or 60 days with open circuit voltage above 12.6VDC.
Non-Compliance New Vehicle Arrival View:

This view shows the vehicles with no associated battery test performed on time – within 14 days after being in the lot.

Non-Compliance Customer Delivery View:

List of vehicles that were sold without a battery test performed within 14 days of the sold date.

Non-Compliance Dealer Inventory View:

List of vehicles that batteries were not maintained while in the inventory. The vehicle is considered as not maintained when:

  • Battery test is not performed within 14 days when the vehicle is due for inventory testing.
  • Battery test calls for the charge (GR8 DIAGNOSTICS NEEDED), and there was no charge performed within 14 days of the charge test result.
